School Playground Progress

Child Development Center Eyeing Playground Upgrade
Principal Mr. Chris Chambers

CDC was recently featured in The Cullman Tribune. Thank you W.C Mann for highlighting our continued efforts to secure funding for a new playground area. Our future playscape area will focus on the multiple areas of need for all our student's physical and cognitive growth.

Our school has created a Playground Committee comprised of teachers, aides, parents, central office personnel and community members.  We currently have five playground designs have been presented to our faculty/staff from reputable playground design companies.  After researching each design, we will collectively vote on the playground design that best meets the student's needs and begin rolling out our plan for acquiring funding.

Please stay tuned in to this exciting endeavor as we create a playscape that is accessible and beneficial to all our students.
