CDC Library Media Specialist with son and dog
I have been blessed to work at the
Cullman County Child Development Center as Library Media Specialist since 2005.

Before moving to Cullman County, my family and I lived in Jefferson County and I taught 5th and 6th grade in the Walker County School System.  My Bachelor's Degree is in Elementary Education from UAB (2001) and my Master's is in Library Media Science from UWA (2004). Prior to teaching, I substitute taught for Jefferson County, Walker County and Birmingham City School Systems while also working for the United States Postal Service as a rural carrier, attending college and being a mom to my two oldest children.

My husband and I have been married since 1994. We now have three children and one handsome grandson born on
January 22, 2018.

All of us at the CDC would love for you to visit our delightfully unique and wonderful school and when you do...don't forget to visit the library!
